How Our Network Works
Talk to a local provider
Who you talk to
You talk to an independent concrete provider, a local business that does the work itself. Laurabonus Concrete makes the introduction and then steps back. There are no staff profiles here because the person you speak with is the provider you may hire.
What happens on the first call
Expect a few plain questions. What do you want built? How big is the space? Is there an old slab to remove? Are there slopes, tight access or drainage trouble? Have you noticed cracks, heaving or pooling water? Early signs like these are worth mentioning. Plan before panic.
The provider may then suggest a site visit to measure and look at the ground. Call hours vary by provider, so Request a callback to check provider availability.
What to ask a provider
Keep a short list handy:
- Is the quote written, with each line itemized?
- How thick will the slab be, and what base goes under it?
- Will there be rebar or mesh, and where do joints go?
- How is drainage handled, given freeze-thaw winters?
- What sealer or finish is included, and how much upkeep follows?
- What licenses and insurance does the business carry?
- Who removes old concrete, and is that priced separately?
For stamped concrete patios, also ask about pattern options, color method and resealing.
You stay in control
You can ask for more than one quote. You can compare them line by line, take time, and say no. Costs vary by job, so a written quote matters more than any number you hear on the phone. A fair provider will explain why a price is what it is.
